Spotlight on Reverie (Age 8): Our Prima Ballerina Shares Her Favorite Things About Valentine’s Day
We sat down with our very own tiny twinkle-toes, Reverie, to chat about Valentine’s Day, ballet, and all the things she loves most about the season of love. Here’s what she had to say!
Q: What’s your favorite thing about Valentine’s Day?
Reverie: I love making Valentines for my friends and decorating them with sparkly stickers! Oh, and eating pink macarons, with rainbow sprinkles please.
Q: If you could choreograph your dream Valentine’s ballet, what would it look like?
Reverie: It would have lots of twirls and jumps, and everyone would wear Tutu Du Monde dresses. There would be red roses everywhere.
Q: What’s your favorite part of hosting a ballerina-themed party?
Reverie: Decorating my own tutu! I like sticking the Pirouette patches on them because they’re so pretty. And puzzles—I love the Stage Puzzle because it makes me feel like I’m on a real stage.
Q: Do you have a special Valentine’s wish?
Reverie: I wish for everyone to have the happiest day, lots of hugs, and for all the horses to have Valentine's delivered to them.
